I tried to pack away the set after it had dried and it wasn't easy and it didn't sound good- I could hear rice coming of. So I may have to build what I can at home then put the grass on at college where it needs to go to avoid any more mishaps.

Mask bought from Ebay for £0.99. Will experiment with a different mask first

Pound shop mask. Used tissue to smooth out the paint so there would be no streaks. The just painted the lips and eye lashes on. I think for the proper mask I may use fake eye lashes instead of painting them

"Grass" made from rice and green paint

 Set base with the plan of where objects will go

 Levels made from newspaper, recyclables and a mixture of water and PVA glue

 I made a ledge on floor so that the built up parts can slot in with out seeing any gaps

By this point I had used 2 1kg bags of rice and I had run out so I asked for donations of Facebook

When this was finished it had about 5kg's of rice on it and at the moment I'm thinking of doing 3-4 sets.

Tree painted by using a spray bottle to cover it quickly and to get streak marks going down to look more like tree bark
