As I want to do work in set design and building the sets to me were the most important part. I do feel like they could have been better if certain things, beyond my control hadn't happened. The trees and ground will be difficult to get right. Just like Avatar, who didn't want the environment to look fake and tacky I want don't want the same fake look in mine. The shape, branches, leaves and colours were mostly done spontaneously, the first one was the tester which just so happened to turn out fine the first time. I then applied the same techniques of building the tree body and branches. I loved creating my own little fantasy world, my land of piece.
The final piece wasn't as final as I thought it would be. Something's weren't as they should have been. Some friends of mine noticed a few things that weren't quite right and by the time I could do something about it, it was too late. They could have been easily altered but only myself to blame. I should have double checked and checked the export file. I have taken a lot out of this course, gotten into the University I wanted to go to. Even if the film isn't as how I pictured it, I've still learnt from mistakes and I no how long certain things may take. All this I can transfer onto my University course in September, which I can not wait to start creating.
